Integral Institute is preparing to enter its most active phase of outreach yet, starting with the construction—and now, the near completion—of the world’s first online integral learning community: Integral University. This intense period of preparation has included bringing on new staff (see People), reorganizing the Institute’s infrastructure, and creating enormous networks of international communication and coordination. Integral University has over 20 individual colleges or domains (and another 20 set to come)—from Integral Ecology to Integral Business to Integral Medicine to Integral Art—all of which are now working full steam in preparation for launch later this year. Integral Institute has heard from thousands of students around the world who complain that the education they are receiving—from conventional and alternative colleges—is simply not integral. We have therefore created the position of University Students Liaison to reach out to those students, including—within the year— accredited courses through IU, as well as live events in the Denver-Boulder area, which are occurring now.
