Information about the Speakers:
Thomas Keating, ocso is a trappist monk, has spent over fifty years in sustained practice and devotion to the spiritual life. He is one of the leaders of the Centering Prayer movement and the founder of Contemplative Outreach. Fr. Keating is committed to bringing the reichness of contemplative experience to people who live and worship outside of the monastic cloister. He is the author of numberous works including, Open Mind, Open Heart; Intimacy with God; and Invitation to Love. Thomas Keating lectures on spiritual issues and contemplative prayer worldwide.
Mary Margaret Funk, osb is a Benedictine Sister of Our Lady of Grace Monastery, Beech Grove, IN. Exective Director of the Monastic Inter-religious Dialogue Board. She has participated in dialogues with His Holiness the Dalai Lama, Hindu, Buddist, Islamic and Taoist monks. She is a lively and dynamic lecturer on contemplative issues. She is the author of Thoughts Matter, Tools Matter for Praciticing the Spiritual Life and Islam Is...An Experience of Dialogue and Devotion
