Fred Kahler was born in Washington, DC on July 26, 1942. Showing early signs of talent, but little drive, he didn't create
much. Fred was always interested in mythology and studied it for years. What impressed him most was the singular message
running throughout mythology and religion. Around the age of 33, Fred found himself drawing on a piece of cardboard. He
had created something he had never seen before. With a quill pen, ink, and watercolor on illustration board [with no
magnification] Fred, with the support of his wife, Mary, began a journey that would create 70 works of art and a lifetime
of amazement.
