• Re: Comments on Hashing out the States-Stages Question

What a fascinating discussion!! I completely lit up when I saw this dialogue and the great points that Father Thomas Keating, Roger Walsh and Ken made. I share Father Keating's bafflement at how someone at 'amber' can be 'enlightened' (whatever that means, as Roger pointed out) and I would love to see more detailed examples of how this ...

  • Re: Why AQAL?

Hey Jeffrey, Great post! I really like the image of building a room with a fantastic, detailed, inclusive, discerning View out of which to see the trees and birds with our relative being. This is something I've been thinking on, the greatness of the relative detailing provided by AQAL that is not found in the Contemplative Texts in the same way, ...

  • Why AQAL?

Dear All, I was lucky enough to have an essay I wrote on Psycho-sexual development of structure-stages in an AQAL context published on kw.com. I am beginning to write on Integral Applications and I am specifically interested in Contemplative Practice [particularly Zen, Mahamudra]. The question I have is ''What is given to Contemplative Practice ...

  • Re: Cool Expansions on Big Mind Voice Dialogue

That is a good and novel idea. I think there may be problems in that structure-stages are not ''Ever Present'', they need to develop and mature. Secondly when they have developed in the individual they autonmatically function as a system of generating meaning. what do you think? warmly Rich

  • Re: Help with the next issue of HOLONS

I don't know if he's stll working with Blair however it does appear that New Labour are still going strong with implementing an apprach that includes both the political left and right (and so transcending them both). Tony made a great Teal + statement the other day ''I don't disagree with him, it's just that . . . . '' [to my mind it ...

Hey Marco, How about the Infrared Political world-space of cats? Politics, of course, arises at different Kosmic Addresses and the cats' Politics enact I, We, It and Its; the feeling of a cat defending it's territory, the 'we' space between 'invader' and 'defender', the physiological responses of both cats in the 'it' and the systemic interactions

  • Re: The Humanity of Spiritual Teachers

Rick, The ONLY point I'm making is that Enlightenment does NOT equal 'moral behaviour' in and of it's self. There are various reasons for this, as I'm sure you've heard, like Enlightenment being un-conditional and morality being purely conditional, Enlightenment being Timeless and morality being in time. However, we also can acknowledge here the ...

  • Re: stuart davis' audio book

Not just the sick and dying but everyone! Also cats and dogs! ''Master, does that dog have Nuddha-nature? Mu'' well, a bit silly none-the-less if we don't know it from our deepst Heart though, yeah? For like, 50% of our day, yeah? Deida often tells us that unless we find ordinary life completely YUK! then we won't really want to bother to wake ...

  • Re: stuart davis' audio book

I think Stu actually is depicting literal rape by the historical Jesus on little children and yes, stu does have two girls (this theme is repeated in modified form in Stu TV with ''Tom Cruise skull fucking a baby, no wait, it's a dead baby'' and also in another chapter of his audio book in which he talks about having sex with his pregnant wife and ...

  • Re: Is anyone here going to I-I seminars in March?

Hey, I just heard it's an 18-20 hour drive bro, so there's a bit more detailed info. I'm sure you're used to long driving coming across from Oz, the longest drive we have in Britain is about 45 minutes, any longer and you fall in the sea ; ) Rich
