    Corey,

The added visual complexity, texture + spacial compression may appeal to our design savey, youthfull next wave of viewer/users (viewsers?)

Making the header a horizon by poising a section of the logo constellation is a meaningfull move. By juxtaposition, the pitch black field became ground/depth. By suggestion, the turquoise stars are visible begining where the monitor ends and the space the viewer occupies begins.

    Nice change.

I love that I can access the archives using tags/keywords.

Re: New navigation menu on IN

I just got an "Under Construction" message when clicked on the link to IN from the "http://www.kenwilber.com/multiplex/show/251" link.

Also, I have a heck of a time trying to locate the Multiplex update on Ken's website/blog from my RSS feed link.  I get an error message
"Application error (Rails)" when I click on it.  And then when I try to find it manually, I keep getting a page that looks just like the main page on the Multiplex, with the giant map.  Occasionally it occurs to me to scroll down, and lo and behold there is actually a blog down there.  It would be great if the blog content was more prominant, and the blog actually looked different from the Multiplex's index page.

PS it looks like this message got autoformatted somehow... I had originally tried cutting and pasting the error message into my text, but I couldn't unformat it from the header size that it came in as.  Is there a way to unformat text in this MSWord-like set up you've got here?  Or at least a "return to default settings" option?

Just wait until y'all can start tagging audio and video with your own keywords!  A little farther down the line, like later this year, but it is definitely in the works....

Re: New navigation menu on IN

First off:  I deeply and humbly apologize for the hideous and inexcusable typo in this week's IN mailer.  Last night was a heavy load, and somehow that slipped through the cracks, and i am taking measures to ensure it doesn't happen again.  My sincere apologies to Bodhisattvas everywhere, everywhen....

    That said....

We now have a new What's New page, complete with pretty flash animation, audio/video copy, featured guests, and free samples.  You like?

Also notice the new Avant Garde page....

I would really love to know what y'all think of these site updates; i am trying every week to provide a more cohesive and aesthetically pleasing IN experience for you all.  A lot of the feedback we receive in these forums is pretty critical, so it would be nice to know what you guys think we are doing right....

Who knows, maybe some folks from the Zaadz pod will even stop by and offer a bit of positive feedback, rather than just picking on us all the time .... Smile [:)]

Re: New navigation menu on IN

New video pages from this point forward....

Podcasting has been re-enabled with each week's free sample....

So doesn't anyone have ANY feedback for me around all these site upgrades we've seen in the past few months?  IN is pretty unrecognizable from its previous incarnations, even from just a few months ago....  I am trying to bring something new to the site every week--which is a lot of work, simply because i am the only person working full time on Integral Naked.  It makes me feel good to launch every monday morning with what is, from my perspective, an incrementially cleaner, sexier, and more intuitive IN--but it would make me feel even better knowing that y'all yourselves recognize and enjoy these upgrades...

    So please, let me know!

    ^_^

    Corey,

    I. did notice the return of podcasting, while checking on another podcast on my itunes.

Good work!  Also, the video pages are more enticing, cleaner setup.  Looks altogether more professional and slick.  Thank you for your efforts!

Re: New navigation menu on IN

Hey, thanks Michael, i really do appreciate your feedback.

Podcast rocks!!  Woo hoo!!  Be sure to spread the word, and tell everyone and their mom about all the delicious free samples that are being served every week....

And yes, i am very excited about the video pages.  I have updated several other old ones, and will continue to do as the weeks progress.  It's funny how much more information is communicated through adding tiny thumbnails to the page, which i am hand-picking from each individual video.  Basically, to let you guys know my strategy, i am upgrading all the video pages that already have copy written for each clip, and once i am done i will start going back through all our video pages, watching each video, generating copy, and upgrading the page.  Will probably be a several-month project, but hopefully in the end it will make you guys--and the rest of the world--want to watch even more of our videos than you already do  ^_^

You know, i am fishing for any feedback whatsoever!  If the feedback happens to take the form of compliments, all the more welcome!  If they happen to be complaints, that's fine too.  I'll just ban your ass.

    Just kidding!  Smooches!
